iGuide | Grid-style EPG for the Topfield PVR5800

iGuide is a Topfield Application Program (TAP) providing a grid-style Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) for the Topfield TF5800 DVB-T PVR, incorporating now-and-next information, series-link timers which provide the ability for all episodes in a series to be recorded automatically, and cross-channel recording patterns which allow related programmes on different channels to be recorded automatically. Internationalisation is supported, with a number of language packs available (others welcome).

iGuide allows the creation of EPG Views - lists of channels in a user-defined order - giving easy access to favourites lists for different individuals, family-safe EPG views (e.g. with adult channels hidden) or even Sky+ like categories (‘Children’s’, ‘Movies’ etc.).

An iGuide v2.0 alpha spike can be downloaded as a zipfile here: iguide20spike.zip. This is a regularly updated version of the latest beta: on the plus side, it contains fixes for bugs in the latest beta, and new features; on the minus side, it is less well tested. If you're happy to use it, please report any issues back to me.

Note that the SMS text handling portion of iGuide resides in a companion TAP, iGuideSMS. This is included in the beta zipfile above, and can also be found here: iguidesms12.zip. iGuideSMS is standalone, and can provide SMS messaging to other TAPs with appropriate extensions.

Example skins and language packs for iGuide v1.2a are available in the zipfiles at iguide_skins.zip and iguide_languagepacks.zip respectively. Welsh, Norwegian and Polish packs are currently available, with an English pack also provided as a basis for further translation.
